What to do if you can’t play with your PS4, PS5, PC friends on Switch

1.Check to see if you are friends

Inviting someone to games requires you to be friends.
Make sure you are friends with the person you want to play with.

2.Set your “Receiving Friend Requests” setting to “Anyone”

You will not be able to receive friend requests unless the setting for receiving requests, which can be changed in the friend’s settings, is set to “Anyone.”

The following is a step-by-step guide to setting the option.

Step 1. Press down on the right stick to open the party menu

The right stick is the stick on the right side, as shown in the image above.
Push down on the right stick button until it clicks to open the party window.

Step 2. Select “+Invite”

Once the party menu is open, select an empty slot that says “+Invite”

Step 3. Check and change your reception settings in your friend settings

Check to see if “Receiving Friend Requests” in the Settings tab is set to “Anyone”.
If it is set to “No Friends” or “Friends of Friends”, change it to “Anyone”.

3.Try changing your Server Region setting

Epic Games allows you to search for and apply for friends and play games together on each server.

If you are not receiving friend requests or cannot find them by searching, setting the server to the same as your friends may work.

The server can be changed from the settings screen.

The following is a step-by-step guide to change the setting.

Step 1. Press + button to open the Settings menu

Step 2. Select the icon for Options

Step 3. Set the Server Region to a location close to your current region

Since the default Server Region is set to “Automatic,” it is likely to be crowded with people from all over the world accessing the server, so change the setting to focus on a region close to your current location.

4.Check if the Cross Platform Play setting is “On”

Cross-platform play settings can be found on the same settings page as the Server Region described in Step 3. If Cross Platform Play is turned off, you will not be able to play with friends on PS4, PS5, or PC.

Make sure that cross-platform play is “on (recommended)”.

5.Try closing the software once

If you still cannot play with your PS4, PS5, or PC friends after trying steps 1 through 4, try exiting the Fall Guys software and starting it again.

You can “close the software” by pressing the home button, then pressing the X button.

Start it again and see if you can send a friend request or invite a friend.

If you are still unable to cross-play, there is most likely a problem with your friend’s game settings.
Check your friend’s game settings and whether or not they have updated their Fall Guys to the latest version.
