The Switch version of Fall Guys went free to play on June 21, 2022.

How to send a friend request on the Switch version

This section explains how to send a friend request. It’s easy to do, so you can get started playing with your friends right away.

How to send a friend request on the Switch version

1.Press down on the right stick to open the party window.

The right stick is the stick on the right side, as shown in the image above.
Push down on the right stick button until it clicks to open the party window.

2.Select “+Invite”

Once the party menu is open, select an empty slot that says “+Invite”

3.Find your friend by searching for them

Enter your friend’s username in the search box where it says “Search for players or friends…”

The username you enter here is the name you or your friend created/connected with an Epic account. This is the name you or your friend sees next to the crown symbol in the upper left corner of the screen.

4.Send a friend request and ask your friend to accept it.

Once you’ve sent the request to the correct friend, have them press “Accept” to complete the process.

How to play with friends on the Switch version

The process is the same as the friend request process, so it should be easy to do.

1.Open the party window by pressing the right stick button.

Just like when you send a friend request, press down on the right stick until it clicks to open the party window.

2.Select “+Invite”

Open the party menu and select an empty slot that says “+Invite”

3.Send an invitation to your friend

Select the friend you want to play with and push the “Invite” button under their name.

Once you’ve invited the appropriate friend, have them select the “Accept game invite” button and you’re ready to play.

How many friends can you play with at most?

Fall Guys can be played together with up to four people. Be aware that the limit of people can vary depending on the game mode.

Fall Guys also offers cross-play to play with others on different consoles which allows you to play with friends who don’t have a Switch. So now you can play with friends you haven’t been able to play with before!

What to do if you can’t play with your friends or invite them to play with you

Solution 1: Try resetting the software.

If you are unable to play with or invite your friends, try closing the Fall Guys software and starting it again.
You can “Close Software” by pressing the Home button and then the X button.

Start the game again and send another invite.
This method worked for us.

Solution 2: Make sure you have not misspelled a friend’s name.

You can only invite friends to whom you’ve completed a friend request with, so it is essential that you become friends before inviting someone.

First, check with each other to make sure you are friends and that you have not mistakenly used the wrong name to search for a friend.
