Fall Guys cannot be played with only one Joy-Con.

Character control

The character can only be moved with the left stick.
There is no sprint or any other function that changes the speed of the character.

Facing control

Use the right stick to move the viewpoint. Use it when obstacles or walls make it difficult to see.
Press down on the right stick until it clicks to return the viewpoint to the forward-facing angle.

Jump

Jumping is done with the B button. It is used when there is no path or when jumping over bumps, etc.

Dive

Dive is done with the Y button. Use it when you are about to fall off the stage or when you want to move quickly over a short distance.
It can also be used as a way to get in front of other players when stuck in traffic.

Doing this just before you reach the finish line will increase your chances of finishing ahead of other players!

Name display

You can display names with the ZL button.
Names of other players, including your own, can be displayed above the head during the game using this button.

Gesture

You can use the D-pad to make gestures.

This gesture can be changed in the menu where you change your skin or costume.

You can choose up to four emotes to use from the emotes you own.
